A day in the life at Tinkering School NC...

Tinkering School NC is a small group of 12 campers lead by 2 counselors and a 3rd counselor during peak building times.  Once we focus on skills and safety, then we collaborate together to make an awesome large-scale project based around a theme chosen that late Monday/Tuesday morning, depending on skill level, interest, weather considerations and phase of the moon (just kidding).  We use impact drivers, cordless drills, levels and measuring tapes and other basic carpentry hand tools.  Each camper is given safety glasses and ear muff hearing protection.  Every day we mix in group games, visiting farm animals, exploring the farm plus water play/water slide to keep cool.

We save 4 spots for girls during our registration period so we end up with a nice ratio of boys to girls.  If there are any of those "girl" spots not taken by March 1st, then we open the spots to boys our waitlist.  Tinkering School NC registration fills very quickly,  so please register asap.   More details on our FAQ page.
