A day in the life at Forest Tinkering Camp...

Forest Tinkering Camp is a small group of 12 campers lead by 2 counselors.  Forest Tinkering Camp is totally unlike Tinkering School's format.  First, we are in the forest based from our new shelter for much of the day.  We learn and develop our outdoor skills: flint-knapping to make arrowheads, chop wood for our daily campfires used for cooking, gathering native plants, making fishing nets, building a water filtration system, whittling sticks into tools, improving in archery, telling stories of yesteryear....the concept will be like living in a "pioneering village".  As far as projects go, they will be mostly individual.  Campers will need a certain level of maturity and be able to follow instructions to safely work and have fun in this environment.  Counselors and campers alike are going to do a deep dive into this subject matter!

We save at 4 spots for girls during our registration period so we end up with a nice ratio of boys to girls.  If any of the "girl" spots not taken by March 1st, then we open the spots to boys on the waitlist.  Forest Tinkering Camp registration will fill very quickly, so please register asap.   More details on our FAQ page.
